Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, 175000m2 2006 - 2010 Nanjing Xinbai Center is located at the south east corner of the city center. The podium is built in 1996, which was an iconic and popular shopping mall. In 2006, a concept of three sky scrapers on the original basement was carried out. It became the landmark of Nanjing. 1. In order to give architectural functionality to the plan, the design of the round plan was changed into an octagonal form. 2. At the top of the building, it’s a square shape which makes the building taller and straighter. 3. We enlarge the area of the top floor which creates higher economic value.
